A far cry perhaps from the trendy upmarket streets of Notting Hill...But a fitting scenario for the Bombay Bronx playing again this month to a sell-out crowd...But this time with a twist - The Asian8Mile Battle Contest...
Nihal introduces The Leano
SL2UK were kindly permitted by Radio 1 DJ, Nihal, to cover the event for the opening night of the Asian8Mile Battle Contest.
An awestruck crowd at the Leano's lyrical prowess
Hosting as usual a lush crowd of the Asian diaspora, the Battle kicked off with a contest of wits and wile featuring our very own Leano (pronounced Lee-no).
The two contestants battled it out for the chance to open for Busta Rymes' concert to be held in May 2006. The Leano faced up to his challenger and left the audience in little doubt as to the true Battle Champion of the Bombay Bronx.
